Beverly Theiss

Beverly Marie Theiss, 83, of Kerrville, TX passed away June 3, 2004 at a local hospital. Mrs. Theiss was born January 15, 1921 in Tyler, TX to William and Lela Gray. She married Floyd Henry Theiss on June 22, 1940 in Kingsville, TX. In 1975 they moved to Kerrville. She was a homemaker with many hobbies including florist work, crocheting, sewing, painting, and singing. She was the past president and treasurer for the Bishop PTA, and active in the Women of the Church and served in all offices. In Kerrville, she was a member of the Sewing Club of Turtle Creek, the Hill Country Arts Foundation Auxiliary, and the Zion Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Theiss is preceded in death by her husband, and her son, Darryl Theiss.She is survived by her daughterinlaw, Diane M. Theiss of Kerrville two granddaughters, Julie Eileen Theiss and Jennifer Dawn Theiss and sister, Ruth Gray Meneley, and many close friends.Funeral services will be 9:00AM Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor David Chancellor officiating.
