Bettye Deweese

Bettye Clare DeWeese, 85, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 18, 2007 at a local care facility.Bettye was born August 5, 1921 in Calvert, Alabama to Drake and Elsie Faile Simpson. She married Norman B. DeWeese in December of 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Kerrville in 1992, where they became members of Junction Highway Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and sketching. She was very much loved by her family and they will miss her dearly.She is survived by two loving sons, Michael A. DeWeese of Kerrville, and Norman J. DeWeese of Kerrville grandson, Michael A. DeWeese, Jr. of Dallas granddaughter, Gloria Anne DeWeese of South Bend, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.Private family services and interment with her husband will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to Vistacare Hospice, 1001 Water Street, Suite B100, Kerrville, Texas 78028.
