Betty Ferris

No service is planned at this time for Betty Jean Ferris, age 82, who died on July 8 at Brookdale Nursing home in Kerrville Texas.

Betty was born in January 13, 1934 in Akron Ohio to Albert Smith and Mable Briggs Smith. She was the second of two children.

She married Richard Clinton Ferris on January 2, 1950. They moved to Dubois Wyoming in 1962 where they owned and operated the Pinnacle Dude ranch for 30+ years. They also resided in Phoenix, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada and for the last 10 years in Kerrville Texas.

Betty is survived by her husband Richard Ferris of 65 years; her Brother, Samuel Hayes of Sparks, Nevada; her three children, Mark Ferris of Carson City, Nevada; Sid Ferris of Reno, Nevada; and Linda Ferris Hitchcock of Charleston, South Carolina; 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
