Betty Engdahl

Kerrville Betty Louise Engdahl, 79, passed from this life on Monday evening, February 25, 2008 at her home after battling cancer for over 2 years.Born in Santo, Palo Pinto County, TX on August 31, 1928, she was the daughter of Lundy N. and Celia Elizabeth Waldroop Wagnon. She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1988. Prior to that, she and her husband traveled in the Middle East, Far East, Australia, and Majorica, due to his work.Mrs. Engdahl had a great love of the outdoors, and it showed in the beautiful gardens she enjoyed creating at her home. With the love and care she gave them, she always had wonderful flower gardens and vegetable gardens.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.Mrs. Engdahl was predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers, Frederick Leon Wagnon and Avis Leo Wagnon.Family members include her husband, SC Engdahl of Kerrville her son, John K. Rosford and his wife, Audrey, of Kerrville her daughter, Sandra K. Cook and her husband, Alan, of Round Rock, TX one grandson, Jason Cook of Round Rock, TX: sisters, Peggy Ruth Doss of Odessa, TX, Clara Jo Shelton of Fort Worth, TX, Wilma Sue Chestnut of Santo, TX, Eva Cleo Pollock of Lipan, TX and Patricia Catherine Farmer of Chandler, TX a brother, Arthur Lundy Wagnon of Rienzi, MS, and many nieces and nephews.ation will be at Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 5PM8PM.Graveside services will be held in the family lot at Santo North Cemetery, Santo, TX on Monday, March 3, 2008, at 1:00PM.The family wishes to give a special thanks to Shirley and Ave Maria Hospice for the excellent care they provided Betty.The family asks that in lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations be made in Bettys name to the Ave Maria Hospice, 1331 Bandera Highway, Suite 3C, Kerrville, TX 78028.
