Betty Cruse

Kerrville Betty Trucene Cruse, 82, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.

Betty was born in Midland, TX on December 2, 1930 to Kenneth and Evelyn Blackburn Fuqua. She grew up in Abilene, TX. On June 30, 1960, Betty married William Bolling Cruse in Midland, TX.

She was a very talented artist including painting, sewing, and was crafty with beads. Betty created many homemade gifts with her talents.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She was survived by her brother, Allan Fuqua and wife Betty of Boerne, TX son, Mark Cruse and wife Kerry or San Antonio,TX daughter, Kyla Broeker of Hawk Point, MO nieces, Terry Fikes, Sandra Fuqua, Cindy Fuqua all of San Antonio, TX granddaughters, Julianna and husband Charles Frye and Samantha Clark both of Hawk Point, MO, and Amanda and Emily Cruse of San Antonio, TX.

Graveside Services was held at 4 PM, Friday, September 13, 2013 at Nichols Cemetery, Kerrville, TX with the Rev. Sam Ligon officiating.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials can be made to Peterson Hospice of Kerrville, or the charity of ones choice.
