Kerrville On Thursday, June 11, 2009, Betty McKown Coopers soul was set free and carried home on wings of angels to be with our Lord. She was born on August 26, 1940, in Crowell, Texas, the third daughter of Ralph and Fern McKown. Betty met her husband and friend, of nearly fifty years, quotBuzzquot Cooper, while both were attending business school in Fort Worth.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, volunteer, friend and valued employee. She always placed the needs of others before her own. Betty is survived by her husband, Harry M. quotBuzzquot Cooper, III son, Harry M. Cooper, IV and wife Caroline, with their children Jim, Susan, Rebekah and John of Lees Summit MO daughter, Tammera Missel and husband Kevin with their son Patrick of Round Rock, TX. Her grandchildren were always her reason for living, and held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sister, CloVonne McMichael and husband Warren, of Hurst, TX sister, Virginia Tidmore, of Amarillo, TX, sisterinlaw Jackie Russell and special friend Jane Miller of New Braunfels, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to come Celebrate her Life at 10 AM on Monday, July 20, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Dr., Kerrville, TX, officiated by the
Rev. Dr. Warren Hornung.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance www.tsalliance.org, or the charity of ones choice, as Bettys soul always rejoiced in helping those in need.
