Bernard quotBennoquot Oosterman, 83 of Center Point, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Edgewater Care Center in Kerrville.
Mr. Oosterman was born January 1, 1928 in Billiton, Indonesia the son of John and Ann Conijn Oosterman. He married Margie Kropp on February 25, 1980 in Seguin, TX. Benno loved ranching and when they moved to Center Point purchased a ranch and started raising Boer Goats. He was a member of the American Boer Goats Association.
Benno was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Anton and John Oosterman.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Margie four stepsons, Stephen Flume and his wife, Sandra of Seattle WA, David Flume and his wife, Shiree of Austin, TX, Patrick Flume and his wife, Michelle of Charleston S.C., Christopher Flume and his wife, Beth of Seattle, WA two stepdaughters, Nancy Karis and her husband, Nick of Woodway, WA, Cynthia Fray and her husband, JeanMarc of Austin, TX, three sisters, Wilhelmina Touw and her husband, Daan of Rotterdam, Holland, Suus Stibbe of Voorst, Holland, Annelies Peskett of London Ontario, Canada and nine grandchildren.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life Service and a private interment.
