Kerrville Barbara Jean Dugosh, 76, of Kerrville passed from this life on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her residence. Born on October 12, 1931 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Alice Brandenburg Stoughton.While working in Dallas at an early age, she met the love of her life, Charlie Dugosh, with whom she has spent the last 60 years sharing in the good times. After marriage, the moved to Bandera, then to San Antonio, eventually landing back in Dallas before returning to the Texas Hill Country in 1949 where they made their home together and raised their family.Charlie and Barbara spent many years working together in their business, Dugosh Aircraft that they owned and operated until 1996. They traveled extensively throughout the United States, repairing, transporting, and salvaging many airplanes.She loved to bowl, was a cook that could make anyone smile, and she truly enjoyed flowers. Being a gifted painter, she was admired for her art work, even though she never took it to a level of competition. Mrs. Dugosh was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church where she was very active in the annual festival, as well as being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Preceding her in death are a brother, Wesley Stoughton and a daughter, Kitty Kramer. She is survived by her loving husband Charlie Dugosh of Kerrville, TX one brother, Eddie Stoughton of Dallas, TX one sister, Kay Miller of Spring Branch, TX daughters, Christine Shotts and husband Jeff of Kerrville, TX and Charlene Hathaway of Beavercreek, OH five grandsons, four greatgrandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7 PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, Kerrville, TX. A Celebration of Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery following.In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Dugosh to Notre Dame Catholic Church School or to the VA Hospital Auxiliary.Arrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home, 830 8955111.
