Kerrville ndash Ava Lee Stacy, 91, passed from this life on Wednesday morning, August 6, 2008 at a local hospital.nbspBorn in Dale, TX on August 26, 1916, she was the daughter of Monroe and Lula Lackey Riddle.nbsp She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1972, coming here from Freer, TX.nbspMrs. Stacy was a member of the Kerrville Church of Christ. nbspAfter her husband retired 38 years ago, they found a love of traveling in the USA in their motor home.nbspA devout Christian woman, she was a loving wife and mother.nbspMrs. Stacy is survived by her husband of 72 years, Lowell W. Stacy of Kerrville a son, Ron Stacy of Kingsland, TX a daughter, Patsy Templin of Mesa, AZ, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.nbsp She is also survived by a brother, Leon Riddle of Lockart, TX and many nieces and nephews.nbspation will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 12 Noon2:00PM at Kerrville Funeral Home.nbspFuneral services will follow visitation at 2:00 PM at Kerrville Funeral Home.nbsp Interment will be Monday, August 11, 2008 at 1:00PM atnbspBuntan Cemetery, Dale, TX.nbspIn lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations may be made to the Alzheimerrsquos Association. nbsp
