Arthur Lorfing

Arthur Art Lorfing, 84, of Kerrville, TX died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at a local hospital. Mr. Lorfing was born September 15, 1918 in Hackberry, TX to Philip and Barbara Lorfing. He served in the US Coastguard from 19411945. He married Johnnye L. Kinchloe on May 11, 1947 in Hallettsville, TX. He worked for Conoco in Denver for many years as the manager of the lands and minerals department, retiring in 1978. He was a volunteer at the VA Chaplain service, and the American Heart Association past president 19831984. He was a mentor for the KISD at Starkey Elementary School. He was a Republican Party chairman for 10 years. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.He is survived by:Wife: Johnnye L.
