Kerrville, Texas Annie B. Coe, 88, of Kerrville, Texas peacefully entered into rest August 23, 2003 at a local hospital. She was born in Warren County, N.C. to the late Willie Bobbitt and Bettie Hardy Bobbitt. She attended schools in Winston Salem, N.C., living there until 1946 at which time she moved to Kerrville. Marrying in May of 1936 in N.C. to Waldo Clinton Coe, she was a lifelong housewife, a loving mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. Her family was her life, and she made sure they were all cared for to the fullest.Mrs. Coe was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church among many other local organizations. Star Ranch was dear to her heart, where she spent a lot of energy helping children. She was also a very devoted Democrat. Anyone who knew her felt her passion for the Democratic Party. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and six sisters.Survivors include her son, Sam Coe of Kerrville, TX daughters, Beth LeMeilleur and husband Coy of Kerrville, TX and Rachel Griffin of Ft. Worth, TX grandchildren, Dawn Large and husband Shane of Montgomery, TX, Coy LeMeilleur III and wife Rachel of Houston, TX, and Shelly Shivers and husband Lowen of Ft. Worth, TX greatgrandchildren, Annie Blair Large, Coby Tate Large, Tobyn Coe Large, Raegan Alice Large, Shelbi Brenna LeMeilleur, and Kendall Paige LeMeilleur and a host of many loving friends and neighbors.Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 10 AM at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Enloe officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6 8 PM Thursday, August 28, 2003 at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to Star Ranch, or the charity of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home.
