Anna Madsen

Kerrville Anna Louise Raymond Madsen, 93, daughter of Alice Jean Hughes Raymond and William Affel Raymond, a true Southern bell and self driven entrepreneur, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, 12 years to the day that her beloved husband, Dr. Alva Charles Madsen, predeceased her.

Nothing stopped this belle, not even her lifelong battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Anna Louises favorite quote was And the greatest of these is love 1st Corinthians, and that she was, loved dearly by her family, friends, caregivers and dedicated hospice workers.

This southern belle loved history as evident in her involvement in DAR Daughters of the Revolution and the UDC United Daughters of the Confederacy and her great love for antiques. She was also a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority, the University Women and PEO.

Anna Louise always loved the quote, And this too shall pass which exemplified her acceptance and forgiveness of all she encountered.

She will be missed by all but by all, remembered for the greatest gift she gave, herself.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her 4 children, Alva Charles Madsen, Jr and his wife, Sandy, Dr. William Christian Madsen and his wife Marilyn, Jean Kirsten Kramer, and Dr. Dan Frederick Madsen and wife, Lisa 10 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren
