Anna Finger

Kerrville Anna Louise Finger, 79, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on Friday, July 1, 2005 at a local hospital to spend an eternity with her Lord and Savior. Mrs. Finger was born on February 15, 1926 in Whittier, California to the late Herbert and Myrtle Bowman Warren. Mrs. Finger was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas where she was active in her Sunday School class and was a dear friend to all who knew her. She loved many things about life, she and her husband of 61 years, L.C. Finger, who she married on September 2, 1943 in Bennettsville, South Carolina enjoyed their RV throughout the years. They traveled together to many places in which the memories will never be lost. She also loved arts and crafts, and enjoyed cooking. Her grandchildren were also a very important part of her life. Mrs. Finger was Loved in life, will be missed in death, and will never be forgotten.Mrs. Finger is preceded in death by her parents.Surviving are her loving family that include her husband, L.C. Finger, of Kerrville, Texas sons, Steve Finger and wife Jackie of San Antonio, Texas and Kenneth Finger of Weatherford, Texas grandchildren, Rebbeca Hill and husband Darrin of Bryan, Texas and Jonathan Finger of Abilene, Texas along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.Services were held at 2 PM, Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church, Kerrville, Texas with Rev. Warren Hornung officiating. Additional Services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at the Holders Chapel of the United Methodist Church in Cool, Texas. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas.In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, Texas 78028Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
