SAN ANTONIO Anastacia M. Ayala, 74, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on May 21, 2014 at Nix Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
She was born on January 22, 1940 in Uvalde, Texas, and was raised by her parents, Ignacio and Ruperta Maldonado in Uvalde, Texas.
She married the love of her life, Trinidad Ayala, II on October 31, 1962 in Hereford, Texas. They built a life together and raised their children to be the awesome family that they enjoyed throughout their married life. Trinidad left this life on February 7, 2011 and welcomed Anastacia with open arms for their eternity together.
Anastacia was known for being a great cook and she always had food readily available to anyone who entered her home. The love for her children was known by all, as she continually placed their needs first. Anastacia also had a great love for plants. She worked for Inn of the Hills for many years which offered her the opportunity to meet John Wayne Anastacia has lived in Kerrville for approximately forty years and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Anastacia is preceded in death by her father, Ignacio Maldonado mother, Ruperta Morales Maldonado Emilio Castillo, Guadalupe Martinez, and Manuela Lara.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, daughter, Esperanza and husband Richard Rodriguez of Kerrville, Texas daughter, Mary and husband Oscar Vasquez of Kerrville, Texas son, Fred M. Ayala and wife Rita of Uvalde, Texas daughter, Grace Middaugh and husband Mike of New York son, Emilio M. Ayala and wife Lilly of San Antonio, Texas daughter, Elva Ayala husband Ruben Martinez of Uvalde, Texas son, Trinidad M. Ayala III sisters, Caroline Lara and Maria Castillo along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation for Dementia and Alzheimers Association or a charity of your choice.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will start at 6 PM, Friday, May 23, 2014 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028. A Funeral Mass will start at 9 AM, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Kerrville, Texas. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Kerrville, Texas.
