KERRVILLE Amos Abraham Crider, Jr., 53, beloved father, husband, brother and grandfather, went to his eternal rest on Saturday, June 16, 2012, while at work, doing what he loved most. Born on November 2, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of Amos Abraham, Sr. and Lorine Holloway Crider.
Mr. Crider lived in various places throughout Texas during his life, but called Kerrville his home. A devoted father, Mr. Criders family worked alongside him in the family business for many years. When not at work, he enjoyed camping and fishing, as well as tinkering with anything. He will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Steve and sisters, Wilma and Wanda.
Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his wife, Scherry Crider daughters, Crystal Crider and husband Joshua Andrews, and Julie Crider son, Amos James Crider sisters, Viola, Lilly, Lorine, Jeanie, Joyce, and Debra. He was also blessed with 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, along with a host of many loving friends and neighbors.
A ation will be held from 6 8 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028. Graveside Services, celebrating his life, will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10 AM at Nichols Cemetery, Kerrville, TX with Pastor Matt Fox officiating.
