Alma Orr

Kerrville Alma May Pfaff Butch Orr, 79, of Kerrville, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2006 at a local care facility.Mrs. Orr was born on February 24, 1927 in Shadyside, Ohio to John and Ann Fredericks Pfaff. She married Charles Orr on August 31, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan. She was very active in the American Red Cross, and was president of the chapter in Covina, California where she also was a member of their disaster relief team. She was a collector of everything including plates, teacups, roosters, and turtles. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.She is preceded in death by her oldest son Chuck Orr.She is survived by her husband, Charles Orr three sons, John Orr, Jeff Orr, and Paul Orr four grandchildren, Michael, David, Kimberly, and Katie three greatgrandchildren, Carolyn, Katie and Caden and her beloved dog, Sassy.Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jim Carpenter of Peterson Hospice officiating.Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, P.O.
