Alice Arreola

San Antonio Alice Medina Arreola, 83, of Kerrville, passed from this life at 7:30PM at a San Antonio hospital on Monday, July 2, 2012.

Alice was born on February 28, 1929. She was born and raised in Kerrville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Apolinar and Eulalia Medina her husband George Arreola and her brother Enrique quotHenryquot Medina.

Licha is survived by her four children: Ernestina A. and Mauro Martinez, Edward and Linda Arreola, Eloy and Margaret Arreola, and Edna Arreola Sanchez. She is also survived by her 14 grand children, 19 great grand children, sisters: Santa and Jerry Juarez, Minerva and Ramon Ruiz, and Socorro and Adan Lopez and brother Paul and Eva Medina.

She was a housewife and very active in community affairs. Licha will forever be remembered as she shared her Thanksgiving Day feeding all people who needed a warm plate of food. By word of mouth she would feed hundreds on that day even if they ate beans and picadillo.

Licha was a born again Christian who ministered to many people. Her unselfish dedication to her family, friends, and the whole quotbarrioquot blessed her with love from all who crossed her path.

A celebration of her life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 6PM.
