Alfred P. Wilson, 91, of Kerrville, TX (formerly of St. Charles, IL), passed away on July 31, 2018 in Kerrville, TX. He was born May, 4, 1927 in New York, NY to Charles and Giovanna Wilson. Al, as he was fondly known, attended New York University and received a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry. He went on to work for General Tire and Rubber in Ohio, and in 1988, retired from Amoco in Naperville, IL. Al and wife, Mary (Kay) decided to spend their retirement years in Kerrville, TX, due to their dislike of the winters in Illinois.
Al enjoyed reading, gardening, and had a passion for work and numbers. He also loved telling stories and sharing his life experiences.
Al was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, May Kay Wilson (nee Huston) in October 2016, his parents, and a sister, Elsie Wilson of Florida. Al leaves behind two children, son Charles (Jolene) Wilson; daughter Alice Wilson; twin grandsons, Avery Wilson and Beckett Wilson, along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no local services at this time, a family committal will take place at a later date.
