Albert Lesikar, age 84, of Kerrville, passed away peacefully Thursday night, June 13, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be Monday June 17, 2002 at 10 A.M. at Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.Mr. Lesikar was born January 30, 1918 to John and Fannie Dusek Lesikar in Caldwell, Texas. He married Nadine Pickens on October 14, 1945 in Kerrville, Texas. They spent many years in Houston where Labert was a service man and inspector for computers and general office machinery. In 1978 they moved back to Kerrville.Mr. Lesikar was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Houston and was a steward at First United Methodist Church in Houston. After moving back to Kerrville, he became very involved in the work at First United Methodist Church here. Albert enjoyed working and especially enjoyed his yard. He took great pride in the appearance of his home and enjoyed working with plants, especially flowers, to beautify his yard. His hard work was appreciated by more than just his family he was rewarded with yard of the month once, which really made him proud.Mr. Lesikar is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nadine of Kerrville as well as many nieces and nephews and many friends. He will be greatly missed.
