Adelina Muck

Adelina “Lina”  Muck passed away at home on October 9, 2023. She was 83 years old at her passing. Lina was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend who left an imprint on everyone she knew and met with her infectious personality.

Lina was born in Chamacuaro, Guanajuato on March 17, 1940 and lived in Sylmar, California where she met and married the love of her life James “Jim” Muck.  They moved with their 3 daughters to Kerrville, Texas in 1973. In 1997 she became a citizen of the United States.  She retired after working 27 years at the Kerrville State Hospital.

Lina loved gardening, bingo, and her precious pup “Chula”.  She found the most enjoyment being with her cherished grandchildren.  She loved spending time with family and leaves behind a legacy of caring for others.

Lina was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Muck and her parents Pedro Perez and Juana Rodriguez. She is survived by her 3 daughters Rosalinda  (Thomas)  Schmerber, Sandra Muck, Mary (Paul) Garcia. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Joe Trevino III, Adelina Deleon, Jessica Espinoza, Mariah Trevino, Joseph and Benjamin Aguirre, Brianna, Diego, and Joaquin Garcia.
