Kerrville Adele W. Damon, a child of God, joined her Savior in Heaven on Saturday, May 12, 2007. She was the daughter of Edward and Lottie Williams, born on November 21, 1913 in Houston, TX. She moved to Ohio for a few years and returned to Houston at age 7 where she attended school and graduated from Central High School. She assisted her father who established Epworth Methodist Church where she attended, sang solos and was a member of the choir for a large part of her life. She married Earl B. Damon in 1936 and had two sons, Richard Earl and James Allison. She enjoyed her music, painting and teaching preschool.Preceded in death by her loving husband Earl and her brothers, Chester, Russell and Melvin Williams. She leaves behind her sisterin law Betty Williams of Houston son daughterinlaw, Dick and Phyllis Damon of Dallas son and daughterinlaw, Jim and Donna Damon of Ingram grandchildren, Suzanne and her husband Frank McIntyre, Archie Damon and his wife Cheryl, Julie and her husband Brad Engel, Lindsey and her husband Brent Dennis, Scott Damon, Melissa Myer, Laurie and her husband Rick Agee, John Speer nine greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of many friends and neighbors.A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at First United Methodist Church, Kerrville, TX with Rev. Warren Hornung officiating. Interment will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2007 in the Morton Cemetery, Richmond, TX.
