Ada Barger

Kerrville Ada B. Barger, 98, passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.Born in Logan County, Ohio May 26, 1909, she was the daughter of Millard and Maude Funk Elliot. She had been a resident of Kerrville for the past year, coming here from Florida, where she had been a resident since 1972. She had retired after 24 years from Sears Roebuck. In her retirement, Mrs Barger became very involved in the stock market.Mrs Barger celebrated 70 years of marriage to her husband, Carl Barger, who predeceased her in 2004. She was also predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Carl and Claude Elliot and a sister, Medaiah Edgar.Survivors include two sons, Charles Barger of Kerrville and Ralph Barger of Milford, New Hampshire two daughters, Carol Lampman of Port Orange, Florida and Bonnie McCartney of Baker, Louisianna 11 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
