Graveside services for Mr. Aaron Victor Vic Saul, age 79, who died Thursday August 15, 2002 at his home in Russell, KS. will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at 12:30 pm in the Center Point Cemetery with Pastor John Petty officiating and the Masonic Lodge 1123. The San Antonio Police and Fire Department will provide the Honor Guard. There will be a visitation on Monday, August 19, 2002 from 6PM to 8PM in the Kerrville Funeral Home.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspMr. Saul was born on June 28, 1923 in Kerrville to Lola Stevens Saul and Victor A. Saul. Vic married Judy Rogg on January 7, 1977 in Laredo, Mexico. They lived in Texas until 1995 when they moved to Russell, KS. He attended schools in Center Point and Bandera, Texas. At an early age he began his life work at the San Antonio Police and Fire Departments. He was called to active duty by the Air Force and served in WW II. Later he was transferred to the Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from the San Antonio Police and Fire Departments in the 1960s. He then worked at various security jobs retiring again at 62. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 1123 in Bandera, TX.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspHe is survived by his wife Judy Saul of Russell, KS two sons Gary Saul and his wife Debi of Kerrville, TX. and Dale Saul and his wife Charlsie of Center Point, TX. three grandchildren two greatgrandchildren one stepson Jeff Miller and his wife Taunya of Lawrence, KS one stepdaughter Colleen Miller of Windsor, CO. and three stepgrandchildren.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspMemorials may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital or to the Bunker Hill Museum left in care of the Russell Funeral Home, 610 north Elm Street, Russell, KS. 67665.nbspnbspnbspnbspnbspArrangements are under the direction of Kerrville Funeral Home.
