So sorry to hear of Ms Lee passing. She was truly one of most special people I have met. She taught my daughter how to read when the school didnít know how to help her. My daughter went on to graduate with a masters and now helps others. My daughter would never be able to be where she is now without Ms Lee. I have always felt that Ms Lee gave my daughter her life.

Nia was a incredible and incredibly interesting individual She was THE FIRST female aircraft mechanic (to be properly certified) in Alaska when I was about nine years old Nia surprised me with a trip to Camp she paid for it herself and never told me until about a week before I went, to surprise me she did the same for my little brother about 2 years later, when he was old enough and she tutored both of us free of charge knowing our parents didnít have all the money in the world and that we were having trouble in school she was so incredibly smart, skilled, and strong she kept everything neat (if you knew Nia she kept everything so well) One time when me and my brother were really young we went down to Niaís house to go hang out and (Don) Mr.Lee was visiting and he and her Taught us how to make a paper airplane that you could trim and fold with a pair of scissors to look like a F-18 fighter jet. I saw something about her egg cups on here and if you know her she had a greatly vast collection she would make us eggs for them and let us pick any cup we wanted, we even made homemade popcorn once. she was a incredibly smart, faithful, and strong individual and we have no doubt that she is walking along side our lord in heaven now

Rest easy Nia we love and miss you and it brings me great joy to know youíre home now

I met Nia as a young child. Being the youngest girl in a family of 5 little girls with a single mother we got our share of attention. Nia was no different, she was drawn to my family. I have many childhood memories of her, playing with her collection of egg holders and a Russian doll, her making us grilled tuna sandwiches, playing with Echo, reading to her, her reading to me, telling me stories, teaching me lessons, her cracked windshield of her little blue car because ďthatís the way God wants itĒ, and my yellow baby blanket that she made me that I still have to this day faded and falling apart yet will always be priceless to me because it was made just for me. That baby blanket always made me feel so special. I was important enough for her to think of me and make me something so beautiful.
As an adult I randomly called her one evening just because I wanted to see if her phone number was still the same after all these years (one of the few phone numbers I have memorized in my lifetime), and she answered the phone and I filled her in on the events of my life such as Iím married, I have two children, and was in nursing school. She was full of joy and wanting to make sure my husband knew the Lord, and if I vaccinated my children (which was the current topic of her research at the time). Iím deeply saddened that I never took my family back to Kerrville for her to meet them, but find joy in knowing she is with the maker.
Sincerely
Hallie Gibbons (Hansen)

A unique, loving, beautiful daughter of The Almighty God. My family were so blessed to have ended up with Nia as our next door neighbor for the past four years. Iíll never forget when we first moved in, Nia called me and asked if my family and I had any food allergies because she wanted to bake us a pie! I never had any neighbor offer to bake a pie to their new neighborís. It was the best blue berry pie too. Through the past few years we got to really know Nia and I never meet anyone as kind, caring, and helpful. She defined what a true neighbor should be, she quickly became part of our family. She dedicated her life to teaching the young, preserving the earth, and serve the LORD in Jesus name. We should all have faith like her. Nia was very bold and knew how share the love of Jesus to anyone she meet. We are so horned to have known her and their is no doubt in my familyís mind that Nia is with our LORD in Heaven.

I met sweet Nia years ago when we both attended Grace Bible Chapel. Recently she began coming to Grace again and our friendship was renewed. I am saddened by her passing but full of joy knowing she has met her Lord and Savior face to face! I will miss seeing her sweet face and her contagious smile!

I first met Nia at Grace Bible Chapel. She volunteered at Grace Christian School. She was wonderful with the children and tutored many including my own.
Our paths crossed again when she came to Impact Christian Fellowship. She was on the Care Team and brought full meals to the church to send out to all those who were sick.
I also have a special needs grandson who she took great interest in. She did some testing and tutoring with him and also was faithful to send me any information that she found that might help his condition.
She had a very caring heart and made herself available to those in need.
